In January 2023, we welcomed a tiny 7-week-old puppy named Rey Rey. Born with a severe bone condition, his future was so uncertain that his previous owner was considering euthanasia. But when we saw him, we saw a spark of life, and we made a simple promise: we would give him a chance at a life worth living. We vowed to be his family until he could find his own.
Your support allowed us to keep that promise. By 12 weeks old, Rey Rey could no longer walk. It was heartbreaking to witness, and we knew his adoption was unlikely, but because of your generosity, we could provide him with the specialized care he desperately needed and continues to need as long as we possibly could. We fought for him, and with your help, he fought for himself. Today, Rey Rey is a thriving, playful, and happy dog. He has the second chance he so deserved, living a full life despite his limitations.
