One emergency at a time.
The longer I rescue, the more encouraged I become that kind people in this world want to end the suffering of innocent animals on our streets. To this end, in 2020, PTA started a Wish Fund in honor of a wonderful Pyranees named Wish who we lost to bone cancer. The fund is to ensure we have a reserved account dedicated for unexpected medical expenses. This fund has allowed us to address some big needs in our community: from helping owners who have emergencies but do not have the financial ability to take their dog to the vet, to emergencies within our own group, to deciding to take a dog that no one else will take because the animal comes with a large vet bill. This is where your donation to our Fund is really needed.
